Our Mission and Values (ACRES)

Farm Credit supports rural communities and agriculture with reliable, consistent credit and financial services, today and tomorrow. Just like our members, our employees' roots are in ACRES:

  • Accountability - Setting clear expectations with the goal of obtaining consistent results, with the willingness to accept responsibility for our actions.
  • Collaboration - Our One Team way of thinking means we work and act as a team, regardless of department or job role. Together, we can achieve anything.
  • Relationships -The member-owners we serve are the reason we exist, and we focus our talents, technologies, and passions toward serving the people feeding the world.
  • Engagement - Taking an active role in leadership development, community involvement, advocacy efforts, and creating our experience as employees.
  • Stewardship - Ensuring that we are making a positive impact with our teammates, customers, and communities. Honesty and integrity are not old-fashioned notions here.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm trying to apply for a position with Farm Credit, but what do I do if I don't receive a verification code?

The "Confirm your identity" step is an important step in our application process. Our HRIS system is unable to send codes to certain email addresses like, comcast.net, due to their settings. We recommend you apply using either a gmail.com, yahoo.com, or outlook.com email address.

When will I hear if I've been selected to interview?

If you are selected to move forward with an interview, a member of our recruiting team will be in touch with you within a few weeks, depending upon scheduling options.

Is there a limit to the number of roles I can apply to?

While there's no official limit, we recommend that you limit applying to the top three roles that best match your experience and interests. This will give you the best chance to be considered for the openings that are relevant for you.

How long does the overall interview process take?

Most candidates will have a decision within a few weeks from their first interview, however, the overall process duration depends on a number of factors. We recommend being open and honest with our recruiting team about any timing concerns or deadlines you may have so we can try to expedite, if needed.

How is the interview process structured?

We typically begin the recruiting process with a phone or video interview with our recruiting team, followed by a virtual or in-person interview with the hiring manager. Some teams may have a slightly different process to better suit their requirements.

When should you apply on the general open application?

Our recruiting team constantly reviews the applications in our general requisition. This requisition is for applicants to apply if you are interested in joining the HFC team but do not see a specific opening, locations, or department currently available.
