MidAtlantic Farm Credit recently announced the hiring of Nathan Briggs as a loan officer. He will be based in the Association's office in Shoemakersville, Pennsylvania.
“We are very happy to have Nathan join our sales team here in Pennsylvania,” says Hannah Masser, Farm Credit Lending Manager. “His experience in agriculture and with Extension will benefit our members and the community.”
In his role as a loan officer, Briggs will be working with customers to guide them through the various financing options for their specific needs. “I hope to help grow strong relationships with our members to aid them in achieving their personal, business, and/or financial goals,” says Briggs. Prior to joining MidAtlantic Farm Credit, he worked as a Beef Extension Educator for Penn State Extension in Lancaster County, where he developed adult educational programing for all livestock producers.
Briggs is a current resident of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and a director of the Berks Southeast Cattlemen’s Association. He grew up on his family’s registered Angus beef operation and was heavily involved in 4-H and FFA. Briggs is also an active member of both the Pennsylvania Angus Association and the American Angus Association. He attended Penn State University where he earned a degree in Animal Science and studied Agribusiness Management & Agronomy, and earned his Master’s in Animal Science from Purdue University.
