Thomas H. Truitt, Jr.
President & Chief Executive Officer
Tom Truitt was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in July of 2013. He has been with the Farm Credit System since 1993, and with MidAtlantic Farm Credit since 2000. He is responsible for coordinating regional operations, information technology and marketing.
Sr. Vice President & Chief Credit Officer
Kelly Bohrer was promoted to MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s Chief Credit Officer in April 2016. Prior to that she served as Sr. Vice President and Loan Operations Manager. She currently manages the association's credit policies, participation loans, loan operations and secondary mortgage market program. She has been with the Farm Credit System since 2010.
John E. Wheeler, Jr.
Sr. Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
John Wheeler has been with MidAtlantic Farm Credit since 2004. He was formerly Executive Vice President Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Crown Central Petroleum Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland. John is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the Association in accordance with all regulatory organizations within the financial services industry.
John currently serves on the Board and is Vice Chair of St. Agnes HealthCare, board member of the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola College in Maryland and Trinity School, Inc.
Thomas J. Marshall
Sr. Vice President & Director of Audit and Review
Tom Marshall has been the director of audit and review since 2004. Previously, Tom served as Director of Risk Management of Farm Credit of Western New York, ACA from October 2001 through 2003. Before that he was a senior Examiner for the Farm Credit Administration for 15 years. Tom is responsible for performing accurate comprehensive reviews and audits of all phases of the operations of the association.
Sandra L. Wieber
Sr. Vice President & Director of Strategic Marketing and Legislative Affairs
Sandy Wieber has been the director of marketing for MidAtlantic Farm Credit since 2000. She currently oversees the association's legislative affairs; young, beginning, small and minority StartRight program; and all advertising, marketing, and public relations efforts for the association.
James D. Aird
Sr. Vice President & Division Manager
Jim Aird has been the regional lending manager of MidAtlantic Farm Credit's MidMaryland region since 2000. He has been with the Farm Credit System since 1977. Jim is responsible for managing the lending and operational functions, including all staff, in the PennMarVa region.
Sr. Vice President & Division Manager
Stuart Cooper was promoted to MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s Division Manager in September 2015. Prior to that he was a Regional Lending Manager for MidAtlantic Farm Credit. He has been with the Farm Credit System since October 1995. Stuart is responsible for managing the lending and operational functions, including all staff, in the Delmarva Division.
Cheryl L. Steinbacher
Sr. Vice President & Director of Human Resources and Training
Cheryl Steinbacher joined MidAtlantic Farm Credit in 2015 as director of human resources and training. She has over 20 years’ human resources experience in a variety of industries, including commercial banking, manufacturing, and high-technology. Cheryl is responsible for leading and managing the human resource and training functions of the Association.
Tammy L. Price
Sr. Vice President & Chief Information Officer
Tammy Price has been the chief information officer since January 2009 and had previously served as an information specialist since 2000. Tammy is responsible for coordinating and administrating all aspects of MAFC's information systems.
Sonia C. Arteaga
Sr. Vice President & Chief Risk Officer
Sonia Arteaga has been the chief risk officer since August 2012 and had previously served as a special assets manager since August 2010. She previously served in various credit-related functions with Puerto Rico Farm Credit.
Cathy L. Blair
Vice President, Administrative Services & Corporate Secretary
Cathy Blair has been the administrative services and corporate secretary since February 2016. Prior to that she was the Human Resources Generalist from March 2015 through January 2016 and served in various roles in MidAtlantic’s Finance Department from May 2007 through April 2015. Cathy is responsible for managing the executive administrative functions of the Association in accordance with FCA and other regulatory agencies, association policies and procedures, and industry standards.
