Leader Feature: Teaching through Technology
When technology seems to be one of the most rapidly changing aspects of a business, even in the ag industry, it is important for those dreaming of owning their own ag business to be trained in multiple forms of technology.
At Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, students and faculty focus on enhancing their in-class education by also getting hands-on experience right on their campus. Not only does the campus have a dairy farm for agribusiness majors to learn from, but they also have other structures devoted to bettering their ag oriented students. For example, on campus they have equestrian facilities, a greenhouse with aquaculture system and livestock management facilities.
